Managing Hotel staff and ensure that human resources policies and procedures are adhered to.

Prepare and execute the Hotel marketing plan

Liaising with concerned departments to ensure that the properties (building, equipment, machines,.. are well maintained
Meeting any performance indicators decided by the Board

Practical experience of at least 5 years in 3 to 5 stars Hotel senior position
Having worked in Eco-lodge or beach resort would be added advantage

Bachelor degree in Hotel management
Diploma in Hotel management with 5 years of experience

Strong communication skills (English and/or French, Swahili)
Capable of dealing with international and multicultural guests
Experience in event management

Chief Cook

Oversee all kitchen operations and ensure high quality of food and hygiene standards
Able to cost all restaurant menu and banqueting packages.
Ensure low level of food cost
Be familiar with Western, Oriental (Indian or Thai..) and African Cuisine

5 Years working experience in 3 to 5 star hotel.

Diploma in Culinary Arts

Having first aid certificate would be an added advantage

Chief Accountant

Ensure that the record keeping of all business transactions (both on revenue and expenditure) is done as per the Accounting standards and financial reports are produced timely
Ensure that bank reconciliation is done on time
Carry out regular inventory and update the Hotel asset register
Manage the HR function
Oversee the administration function of the Hotel including procurement, f& B cost, maintenance, transport and security
Produce financial reports on regular basis to the management
Be familiar with RRA and RSSB tax returns.

Practical experience of 5 years in finance department of large organization

– Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finances or Accounting

– Having worked in Hotel finances department would be an added advantage

F&B Supervisor

Ensure high standards of the quality of service in all outlets-Restaurant, bar and Meeting rooms
Managing team of waiters and barmen
Manage various events
Costing properly menus and banqueting packages.

3 years of experience in Hotel or Eco-lodges or

5 years working experience

Bachelor’s degree in Hotel management

Or

Diploma in Hotel management.

Strong level of communication skills

F&B Controller

Be familiar with food and beverage costs analysis as well as menu costing
Carry daily inventory both in bars and kitchen areas
Enforcing the F&B Control manual
Reporting daily, weekly, monthly and annually reports on food and beverages costs
Being conversant with beverages menus and cocktail menu

Practical experience of 5 years in F&B department.

Having 2 years as F&B Controller would be an added advantage

Front office Supervisor

Oversee front office the smooth running of front office, Housekeeping and laundry operations as per the Hotel standards
Ensure the check in and check out operations are done perfectly as per the Hotel standards
In liaise with the Human Resources Department ; prepare the staff weekly roaster (planning) respecting the normal working hours.

3 years of experience on FO in 3 to 5 star hotel

Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or Diploma with five years of experience.

Having worked in Eco-lodge would be an added advantage

Head Housekeeper

Able to manage a team of housekeepers and laundry attendant
Ensure high level of cleanness both for Room and in Public area
Use efficient proper cleaning products that safeguards linen life and quality
Enforce the Housekeeping and laundry Standards Operating Systems (SOPs)

3 years of experience Housekeeping Department of 3 to 5 star hotel

Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or Diploma with five years of experience.

Head Maintenance

Planning and managing the team of technicians in relation to the Hotel preventive maintenance or any property repair
Prepare on time requisition in relation to maintenance operations
Manage the Hotel security team
Managing the team of gardeners ensure the Hotel surroundings is well maintained

Practical experience of at least of 2 years in Hotel maintenance

Minimum A2 level in Electricity, Plumbing, Public works or electronics
